Y’know, there are some times when you just have to say what’s on your mind.
For most of my life, I’ve been known as an advocate of doing just that. I’ve helped foster change that way. I’d like to think I’ve inspired a few folks. I definitely know I’ve enraged a few, and managed to get myself into trouble more than once. Such as the time I suggested to a woman that she keep her children on a leash in a fast food restaurant.
But some things need to be said.
One thing I have learned is that you can’t always be too direct, especially around certain people. Sometimes, it’s best to be subtle, a little bit low key. Remember, freedom of speech doesn’t necessarily mean freedom from consequences.
