A long, long time ago, in a movie far away, a man named McGuire said one word to a young Benjamin Braddock: “Plastics.”
Ben wasn’t impressed.
Whaddya know? Turns out Mr. McGuire was right. Plastics were (or would have been) the perfect field for young graduate Ben to get into in those pre-Silicon Valley days. The newfangled miracle material was replacing heavier metals, ceramics and other, older technologies.
Want proof? Just look around. Plastics have replaced the old-fashioned materials in everything from custom siding to car doors to kitchenware. Sure, the other materials are still around, but in the right applications, plastics are stronger, more flexible, lighter and more durable.
And so it is today with custom patches as well. The traditional embroidered or woven patches are still here, of course. But there’s a new style in town – custom PVC patches. And it’s becoming more popular every day.
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a soft, rubberlike plastic that makes a terrific patch material. PVC patches are flexible, lightweight and waterproof. They can be made in virtually any shape or size that you want.
Best of all, PVC patches allow for an incredible level of detail that embroidered or woven patches just can’t match. Just like the traditional threaded styles, you can choose from a range of attachment options including sew-on and adhesive types.
Of course, if you order from Custom-Patches4Less, you still get the same top quality patches, low prices and outstanding service you’ve come to expect from us. That never changes, no matter what patch style you choose.
